Leo Pellicer

October 20, 1925 - November 15, 2021

Leo Pellicer, 96, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 15, 2021 at Trinitas Hospital. Leo was born in Bayamo, Cuba on October 20, 1925. He is predeceased by his parents, Jose Maria & Tomasa Pellicer (née Ledea), his sisters, Águeda, Ana, and Josefa Pellicer. He will be joining his beloved wife of 66 years, Balvina Pellicer (née Falcon), in heaven. He lived and raised his family in Elizabeth, NJ. Leo was a Respiratory Therapist at Alexian Brothers Hospital, Elizabeth General Hospital, and St. Elizabeth Hospital (now Trinitas). Leo is survived by his 2 loving sons, Rafael Pellicer Falcon & Geronimo Pellicer and his wife Luz (Lucy) Pellicer. He was an adoring and supportive grandfather to 6 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild. He was a shining example of a devoted husband and a dedicated father. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. The Visitation will be on Thursday, November 18th from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at Gorny & Gorny Funeral Home. The Funeral will be on Friday, November 19th – 9:00am to 10:30am at Gorny & Gorny Funeral Home; 11:00am Mass at Blessed Sacrament Church following the Burial at Rosedale Cemetery, Linden, NJ.
